After 39 years Algeria finally clinched the Champions of Africa title. Nigeria how long will it be for us 100 years? No an easy feat to achieve looking at the path they took to the final. If it was to get on a Beyoncé album Nigerians are better at that. For more on that view here

The super early goal sealed the game from the onset, even with Senegal constantly knocking the door of the Algerian defence with chance after chance, the Virtual Assistant Referee was of no help causing wahala as usual, with a penalty ruled out in the second half. The Senegalese really played they’re hats off, domination possession throughout the game, but the Algerians had answers to all their attacking questions. Unlike Buhari who has no answer to his absent ministerial list.

Senegal had to go home with the runners up medal with Algerian Midfielder Ismael Bennacer awarded player of the tournament and Odion Ighalo snapping up the highest goal scorer award, receiving accolades from home.
With the tournament over, we will be turning our attention to the ticket spoiling unpredictable English Premier League, the Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A and many more. The next instalment of the African Cup of Nations will be coming up in 2021 with qualifiers already set. Nigeria will be facing Benin Republic and Sierra leone.
